The Boys & Girls Clubs of Providence offers a unique summer experience that combines the best of fun, hands-on learning with all the traditional summertime activities that make school vacation special.
Open to all Providence students and a limited number of students who reside outside the city, BGCP’s summer program provides daily skills-building in math and reading with certified teachers each morning, followed by afternoons filled with swimming, gym activities, field trips, outdoor activities, and more. Breakfast, lunch, and an afternoon meal are provided, and programs are available from 8 a.m. to 6 p.m. at three BGCP Clubhouse locations. This five-day, rigorous immersion into the music and choreography of iconic chorus numbers culminates in an “Opening Night” performance for their families and friends.

The Rhode Island College Summer Sports Camps, directed by some of the area's finest college coaches will provide outstanding instruction in a fun and exciting environment. This summer, enjoy the freedom and thrill of sailing across Narragansett Bay with an experienced instructor in an adapted, 20-foot sailboat. Instructors encourage all participants to be active sailors by steering the boat and trimming sails. Sail To Prevail creates opportunities for children with disabilities to overcome adversity through therapeutic sailing. While experiencing the joy of sailing, participants increase self-confidence, learn teamwork, and improve leadership skills – all of which can transfer to conquering challenges in other areas of daily life. $70 per boat for a 2-hour sail.
